Health & safety manager

You will be Peikko Group's safety responsible person with the aim of improving safe way of working in whole Peikko and encouraging the SAFETY FIRST attitude. Your job will include:

• Planning and supervision of Safety campaigns in close cooperation with Group and local HR and marketing; 
• Safety related trainings for local trainers and Peikko personnel;
• Implementing of Safety manual;
• Conducting Safety walks; 
• Creating and harmonizing of Safety Instructions;
• Reporting of Safety performance to Group management; 
• In cooperation with local Safety experts of the factory units, performing investigations and follow-up of Safety accidents and incidents;
• Leading monthly Safety meetings and doing internal HS audits;
• Supporting local Safety experts in Peikko production units.

• Knowledge of EU legal safety requirements and QEHS standards, such as ISO 45001:2018;
• Understanding and mapping operative and Safety processes;
• Experience in legal requirements in building industry;
• Fluent English skills and ability to travel;
• Good training and team working skills;
• Enthusiastic attitude for safety topics and courage to address safety concerns;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a benefit;
• Internal Auditing skills. 

As a Safety Manager you will have a great opportunity to get an insight to the Global Safety processes in all our production units, and to be part of the development of our Safety activities aiming to reduce number of accidents. In this position you have the possibility to develop personally and professionally. The detailed knowledge will be trained externally and supported by the rest of the Group QEHS team.

Salary ranges for this position are from 3300 Eur (gross).
