HEDGE POWER ANALYST (F/M/D)

We are looking for a colleague who would join the Wholesale energy supply department and would help to accomplish our goals. If you are naturally inclined towards analytical work and can assist in systematizing and structuring business tools and processes and optimizing teamwork, you may be a great fit for this role. Your key areas of responsibility will be:

• To learn and refine existing tools for financial trading and price forecasting;
• To acquire knowledge of trading strategies, enhance current strategies, and formulate new ones;
• To ensure smooth collaboration with other departments by implementing operational tools;
• To conduct a comprehensive analysis of operations, optimize and digitize processes;
• To analyse and document current processes in collaboration with process owners.

• Possess a university degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a closely related field would be an advantage;
• Demonstrate working experience with MS Excel / VBA;
• Exhibit a basic understanding of Python (familiarity with packages: NumPy, Pandas)
• Demonstrate good time management skills, results-driven orientation, and ability to apply critical thinking;
• Showcase analytical thinking and the ability to systematize and summarize information;
• Display excellent command of written and spoken Lithuanian language;
• Demonstrate good command of written and spoken English language.
