Internal Controls Specialist

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure local processes and controls are in line with ICS requirements
• Provide improvement recommendations on internal ICS findings
• Support the HQ ICS Team in global monitoring activities, e.g. testing of controls, Control-Self-Assessments, evaluation of questionnaires and surveys
• Support HQ ICS in follow-up processes and ICS trainings for Festo entities
• Regular Continuous Controls and Financial Transaction Monitoring activities
• Clarification of deviations/discrepancies with local FI and other topic experts
• Investigation and documentation of exceptions and potential errors
• Collaborate effectively across different organizational levels and functions to fulfill company goals and objectives

We expect you have:

• Degree in Finance or related area
• Fluency in English speaking, reading, and writing
• Knowledge of system and processes for SAP (and FIT)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and initiative
• Attention to details, proactiveness, reliability, honesty, and integrity
• Ability to work in a team as well as deliver results individually
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Able to create and hold presentations and lead meetings in English
• First experiences in internal controls are an advantage
