JAVA DEVELOPER (F/M/D)

We are looking for a colleague who would join the Java Engineers’ team and help us take care of expanding our in-house software development capabilities. As a Java Engineer, you will be responsible for developing a newly built business application based on microservice and event-driven architecture by utilizing the latest technology stack.

Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate closely with fellow developers, architects, and analysts to design and develop innovative solutions for new business applications within an Agile team environment
• Develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Define and meet specific performance metrics such as response time and system uptime
• Provide actionable feedback to product management regarding user stories, acceptance criteria, and story point estimation, contributing to the refinement and prioritization of product features
• Work on continuous improvement by proactively investigating alternative technologies, methodologies, and approaches. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and retrospectives to identify areas for enhancement and implement solutions
• Pursue ongoing professional development by actively learning and adopting new tools, technologies, and best practices relevant to Java development. Share acquired knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth

• Have 2+ years of experience in developing solutions using JAVA 11+ platforms. We work with Java 21, Spring Boot, Gradle, PostgreSQL, Apache Pulsar, and many more
• Have experience working with Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Have familiarity with microservice and event-driven architecture design
• Have proficiency with development tools such as Git, SVN, Gradle, Maven, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA or similar
• Have strong learning capabilities, open to learning technologies such as JSON, XML, and SOAP/RESTful Services
• Have good collaboration and communication skills with other team members
