Monies Mint is a newly started production company and sister company to Monies a/s which is based in Copenhagen. Monies was founded in 1973 and so we have a long tradition of creating jewellery made out of natural materials such as wood, bone, horn, amber, stone and pearls. We are 10 employees in Copenhagen and sell to about 100 shops around the world.
Job Description
- Production of jewelery in materials such as stone, wood, bone, horn, amber and pearls.
- working alongside a highly skilled craftsman learning and growing your skills
- Planning and shipping orders every second week.
- Planning and managing production schedule
- Assembling parts to a finished product
- Inventory management and purchase of materials for production - leather, wood etc.
- Building a scalable production workshop from just a few employees
Requirements
- Fluent in English, you are in weekly contact with Monies' HQ in Copenhagen regarding production schedule, orders etc.
- An experienced craftsman, drilling, cutting and carving wood, amber, stone and other materials is part of your daily work.
- Able to prioritize, manage and delegate orders.
- Self-sufficient in dealing with potential problems that might occur.
- Self-disciplined, motivated and ready to take on a key role in Monies Mint.
- You have an eye for details and are critical in quality testing the products before they leave the workshop
