About the role - Chargemont is looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of existing clients after the sales process is completed.

This is not a traditional sales role.

The person in this role will be responsible for building long-term client relationships, ensuring smooth onboarding, and helping clients get the most value from the product.

The role sits between account management, customer success, and business understanding, with a strong focus on ownership.

What the person will do

  • Manage relationships with existing B2B clients
  • Lead onboarding and initial client setup
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients
  • Identify issues and ensure they are resolved
  • Coordinate with operations and product teams
  • Share client insights and feedback with developers
  • Support client growth through natural upsell opportunities

Requirements

  • Someone comfortable working with B2B clients and communicating confidently in English
  • Experience working with e-commerce clients or larger-scale businesses
  • Background in SaaS, fintech, or a technology-driven company
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients
  • Structured thinking and a good understanding of business context
  • Ownership mindset and ability to work independently

Experience with payments, subscriptions, or international client environments would be considered a plus.
