Accountant

• Manage the full accounting cycle for several local and international clients;
• Process primary accounting documents and ensure accurate accounting records;
• Perform payroll accounting and prepare related declarations;
• Prepare monthly and annual tax returns, financial statements and other statutory reports;
• Carry out month-end and year-end closing procedures;
• Ensure compliance with Lithuanian GAAP, tax legislation and internal processes;
• Communicate with clients, auditors, public authorities and other third parties;
• Analyse financial information and provide relevant insights to clients and colleagues;
• Plan and organise your workload independently while meeting agreed deadlines;
• Adapt to different accounting systems and client-specific processes;
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting, taxation and relevant legislation;
• Contribute ideas, share knowledge and actively participate in team activities.

• At least 3-4 years of intensive hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting;
• Practical experience covering the complete accounting cycle – from primary documents and payroll accounting to tax declarations and financial statements;
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian GAAP, taxation and local accounting processes;
• Ability to independently manage the accounting of several clients or legal entities;
• Confidence in taking ownership of tasks, organising your workload and meeting deadlines;
• Good MS Excel skills and the ability to quickly learn and work with different accounting systems;
• English language skills at B1-B2 level for communication and training within TMF Group;
• Accuracy, responsibility and strong analytical and organisational skills;
• A proactive, communicative and socially engaged personality;
• Interest in continuous professional development and the potential to take on project coordination or leadership responsibilities in the future.
CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE
• Experience working in an accounting services, BPO or international business environment;
• Experience managing the accounting of multiple clients or foreign companies;
• Knowledge of IFRS;
• ACCA qualification or ongoing ACCA studies;
• Experience communicating with international clients and stakeholders.
