Accounting Specialist

What will you be doing?
• Performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
• Managing fixed asset, inventory, and lease accounting processes in line with accounting standards and company policies.
• Preparing VAT and other tax-related filings and supporting tax compliance activities.
• Preparing financial reports, disclosures, and supporting documentation while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborating with Finance, Tax, Controlling, auditors, and other business stakeholders to resolve accounting matters.
• Supporting process improvements, system implementations, audits, internal controls, and finance projects.

What are we looking for?
• Experience in Financial Accounting, General Ledger (GL), Record-to-Report (R2R), or a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.
• Knowledge of fixed assets, accruals, reconciliations, and statutory accounting requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Good English language skills.
• Russian language skills would be considered an advantage.
