Accounts Payable Accountant (AP)

We invite you to join the Accounts Payable Accounting Team ensuring timely and accurate service delivery for processing invoices as well as compliance with service delivery standards. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day AP operations and issue identification, evaluation, and resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day AP processes, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and quality of work;
• Assist in the AP service delivery;
• Support the sourcing process by processing requisition and purchase orders as well as workflow tracking and approval management as required;
• Manage all digital and paper-based employee T&E claims;
• Support vendor queries;
• Collate and provide supporting documentation for audits as and when requested;
• Responsible for liaising with other departments, the market, and the offshore team to ensure the smooth functioning of the AP processes;
• Prepare accounting reports and analysis spreadsheets as required;
• Assist with new process implementations.

• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable;
• Fluent English language skills;
• Knowledge of computerized finance and accounting systems and procedures (preferably SAP);
• Customer engagement or customer service experience would be an advantage;
• Good interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills;
• Self-starter for solving process problems.
