Job Description

As Commercial Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in aligning financial strategy with business growth. Reporting directly to the CEO/CFO, you will partner with commercial, product, and operational leaders to provide insight, challenge, and direction that support the company’s rapid expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Partner with the CEO and commercial teams to shape business strategy.

- Provide financial input on key commercial decisions, such as pricing, product development, partnerships, and market expansion.

- Work with global teams to support the continued growth of the company’s business in Europe.

  • Commercial Analysis & Insight:

- Deliver commercial insights using financial and non-financial data.

- Conduct profitability analysis by product, merchant, or processing channel.

  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning:

- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in alignment with business objectives.

- Build financial models to support planning scenarios.

  • Performance Management:

- Track and report KPIs across sales, margins, and operational metrics.

- Lead monthly performance reviews and recommend actions to improve.

  • Business Partnering:

- Act as a strategic advisor to the sales, marketing, and operations teams.

- Help non-financial managers understand the financial impacts of decisions.

- Influence decision-making with data-driven insights.

  • Risk Management & Compliance:

- Identify commercial and financial risks and put in place mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations.

  • Leadership & Team Development:

- Lead and develop the finance team in Lithuania.

- Foster a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of overall career experience.
  • Experience in a similar role with another multi-national fintech.
  • Trained with a reputable investment bank or major accounting firm is an advantage.
  • Strong English and Lithuanian language skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and communication skills.
