Role: Country Manager (CM) – Lithuania  

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (with strategic reporting to Riga, Latvia)

The Mission: AstraMed is a rapidly scaling, premier In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) distributor in the Baltics. We are the exclusive regional partner for Sysmex (the global gold standard in Hemostasis, Urinalysis, Flow Cytometry, and OSNA), operating alongside an elite portfolio of other premium global manufacturing partners. 

We are expanding our physical footprint into Lithuania not just to be another vendor, but to aggressively capture market share and elevate the standard of clinical diagnostics across the country. 

We are seeking a highly driven, deeply connected, and operationally disciplined Country Manager for Lithuania. You will be the architect of our local expansion, acting with total autonomy to win B2G hospital tenders and B2B private lab contracts, while being backed by the clinical and financial infrastructure of our Latvian headquarters. 

This position is for a senior market leader who is relentless in sales and rigorously disciplined in execution. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Lithuanian P&L: Build, lead, and scale the local Lithuanian subsidiary from the ground up, with full accountability for local revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead the Enterprise Sales Cycle: Act as the dedicated Account Executive to secure and manage high-value relationships with Laboratory Directors and Procurement Managers.
  • Navigate Complex B2G Tenders: Drive multi-million euro public hospital tenders and negotiate high-value, multi-year reagent and service contracts.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration: Manage the local sales cycle with agility, and strategically deploy our Product manager and global Sysmex product specialists to help you win highly complex technical bids.
  • Enforce Digital Discipline: Ensure 100% compliance with our fully digitized ERP supply chain and strict internal data protocols to guarantee flawless local execution.

Must-Have (The Non-Negotiables):

  • Proven, high-level track record in IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) or heavy medical device capital equipment sales in Lithuania. 
  • A deep, active network among Lithuanian Laboratory Directors and Hospital Procurement Boards.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset paired with strict financial and operational discipline.
  • Flawless written and spoken Lithuanian, and excellent professional English.
  • The ability to operate autonomously without waiting for bureaucratic permission.

Nice-to-Have (The Edge):

  • Previous experience building a subsidiary, launching a new market, or acting as a Country Head. 
  • Direct clinical or sales background in Coagulation, Molecular Diagnostics, or Flow Cytometry or other clinical laboratory field.
  • Experience with Odoo ERP or highly automated, data-driven sales workflows.
