Depositary Supervisor

Your Role:

• Establish and maintain appropriate control environments to ensure fulfilment of depositary obligations.
• Ensure adherence to all policies & procedures.
• Supervise all cash flow monitoring related matters of the Depositary Department.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure error/breaches are recorded and resolved in a timely manner, as well as ensure prompt escalation to management of any issues.
• Work with clients to resolve queries and escalate any issues, building client relationships.
• Provide weekly departmental reporting to management, as well as assist in the preparation of quarterly board reports.
• Assist with compilation of material for SOC testing, reviews and annual audit.
• Assist with training, development and motivation of the team to ensure a positive working environment.

You will have the opportunity to Identify and propose procedural enhancements, as well as assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives for efficiency.

• Third-level qualification in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in depositary services within the funds industry.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Real Estate, Infrastructure, Loan funds, Fund-of-funds, Private Equity and their operational requirements.
• Proven experience in supervising and motivating a team, fostering a positive working environment.
• Strong knowledge of depositary obligations and investment compliance.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, policies, and procedures within the funds industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments and manage client relationships.
• Experience in preparing management and board-level reports, with the ability to identify, escalate, and resolve errors or breaches in a timely manner.
