Job Description

The Finance Manager at Werfen affiliate is a key strategic role. He/She is responsible for providing financial oversight and leadership of Werfen’s businesses in the country, contributing to the results optimization through analysis, procedure implementation and risk management. He/she provides a comprehensive and highly qualified financial and business support to the General Manager and Business Areas.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Accounting: Oversight of day-to-day bookkeeping and coordination with our shared financial services department in Barcelona.
  • Audit, Tax, and Legal Compliance: Managing statutory audits, tax filings, and ensuring compliance with all local legal requirements.
  • Customer Service & Quality: Ensuring high service standards and managing key customer touchpoints.
  • Logistics: Coordinating and optimizing the local logistics function.
  • Business Partnering: Acting as a key business partner to the Local Country Manager to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Key Networks/Relationships – Finance Manager

  • Interaction with senior management.
  • This position requires cooperation with all the department managers of the affiliate as well as with corporate back office departments (IT, Supply Chain, Corporate Finance, Controlling, etc ) to ensure complete information and analysis.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience required for the position:

  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in finance with exposure to small-to-mid-size businesses or international operations.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and organizational abilities; hands-on and resourceful; able to operate independently in a lean environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Languages: Fluent in English is a must; Lithuanian proficiency.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
