General ledger (GL) accountant

If you’d be happy to join the General Accounting Accountant role, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day record-to-report operations, including:

Responsibilities:

• Supporting daily General Accounting operations, focusing on Month-end-close journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Providing quality support to Audit and Control functions.
• Proactively collaborating with internal and external teams to drive effective problem resolution, implement process controls, and support team members in achieving performance and quality standards.
• Actively participating in process efficiency reviews and the implementation of process automation.
• Assisting in initiating improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of General Accounting transaction processing.

• A degree in Economics or Business Administration, preferably with a major in Accounting.
• Approximately 1-2 years of experience in the field of accounting.
• Experience in General Accounting (GA), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes within a complex and international business environment is highly advantageous.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end Finance and Accounting processes.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is a must.
