IT Support Engineer (Networking & Security)

Job Description

What you will do:

• Investigate and resolve real network and security incidents - from initial diagnosis to solution.
• Work directly with business customers, helping restore services and ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor ongoing incidents and take action to prevent SLA breaches.
• Manage service requests and standard changes through the ITSM system (ServiceNow).
• Identify when issues require deeper expertise and collaborate with L2 engineers to resolve them.
• Document solutions and contribute to shared knowledge, helping improve team efficiency.

Requirements

What we expect from you:

• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, routing, switching) with ~1 year of hands-on exposure.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently, using a structured, problem-solving approach.
• Understanding of IT service environments and ITIL principles, with experience working with ticketing tools.
• Good English (B2+) for daily communication in an international team.
• Familiarity with Cisco technologies, firewalls, or certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CCNP) would be an advantage.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment.
