The Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania (STT) is the main anti-corruption institution in Lithuania, operating since 1997, accountable to the President and the Seimas. STT activities encompass four directions: investigation of corruption-related crimes, prevention of corruption, analytical anti-corruption intelligence, and anti-corruption education for the public. STT also oversees the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Program, which is important for Lithuania.

STT's mission is to reduce corruption, which threatens human rights and freedoms, the principles of the rule of law, and economic development.

STT's vision is to be a law enforcement institution with high public trust, effectively uncovering corruption-related criminal acts, systematically carrying out corruption prevention, and providing anti-corruption education and information.

There are five territorial offices of the Special Investigation Service in Lithuania (in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Panevėžys, and Šiauliai), which are responsible for activities throughout the country's regions, and anyone can report corruption to them.
