Your role at Hostinger

Join Hostinger's Accounting team and help us keep a fast-growing, AI-first business running on accurate, reliable numbers. As Senior Accounting Specialist, you'll provide hands-on support across the Accounting function, stepping in wherever needed to ensure timely task completion while continuously reviewing and improving the processes behind it. Your work will span revenue and cost accounting, general ledger activities, fixed asset accounting, tax reviews, and validating financial calculations for accuracy and compliance.

Your day-to-day

• Provide hands-on support across accounting teams, resolving new, complex, and ad-hoc accounting matters.
• Drive AI-powered process improvements by automating manual work and ensuring the quality of AI-generated outputs.
• Prepare, analyze, and report financial data to support business decision-making.
• Support cross-functional finance projects, including CAPEX calculation & analyses, tax forecasting, and other ad-hoc initiatives.
• Improve finance processes and user experience across billing, payments, invoice approvals, reimbursements, and other finance workflows.
• Review accounting processes and calculations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
• Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with Finance teams to provide accounting expertise and support continuous process improvement.

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3+ years experience in a finance and/or controlling function.
• Knowledge of IFRS or capability to research, understand, and apply where needed.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, analytical skills.
• Great communication and stakeholder management skills to keep regular interaction with senior-level executives and other parties, both written and verbal.
• Team player with a proactive mindset, adaptable, and willing to learn.
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
