Accounting Specialist

What you will do:
• Run month-, quarter- and year-end close: journals, accruals, provisions, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Account for fixed assets, inventory adjustments and leases (VAS and IFRS 16).
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax filings, and support corporate income tax reporting.
• Prepare statutory, management and Group reporting packages.
• Work with Finance, Tax, Controlling and auditors to resolve accounting matters.
• Support audits, internal controls, process improvements and system projects, including the transition to the SSC.

What are we looking for?
• Experience in Financial Accounting, General Ledger (GL), Record-to-Report (R2R), or a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.
• Knowledge of fixed assets, accruals, reconciliations, and statutory accounting requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Good English language skills.
• Russian language skills would be considered an advantage.
