Job Description

  • Monitor the production processes, drawing up a production schedule
  • Ensure that the production cost is effective
  • Make sure that the products are produced on time and are of good quality
  • Work out the human and material resources needed
  • Draft a timescale for the job
  • Monitor the production process and adjust schedules as needed
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs
  • Liaise between different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers
  • Work with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
  • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
  • Supervise and motivate a team of workers

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or readiness to step up from a similar role in a manufacturing company
  • Knowledge and experience in textile industry, particularly woolen yarn production, would be a significant advantage
  • Strong skills in planning, organization, and teamwork
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Experience with MS Office applications
