Risk Specialist

Ready to take the next step? As our Risk Specialist, you will perform real-world testing and reviews, identify and assess risks, and help develop advanced controls that ensure the security and scale of our fintech.

You'll collaborate closely with the Chief Risk Officer, work cross-functionally with product, operations, and sales, and stay on top of evolving regulations (AML/CFT, safeguarding, outsourcing).

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, and compliance risks
• Maintain the Company’s risk register and support implementation of the risk management plan
• Conduct assurance reviews, incident analysis, and root cause investigations
• Support oversight of outsourcing arrangements, safeguarding of client funds, and conduct risk
• Prepare and present risk reports to Management and the Board, including the annual Risk Management Report
• Contribute to company-wide risk assessments covering operational, compliance, and financial risks
• Support regulatory compliance activities, audits, and inspections conducted by the Bank of Lithuania

• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow customer narratives to understand their point of view and find workable solutions to their issues.
• Degree in Finance, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 year of experience in risk or internal control functions.
• Familiarity with EMI operations, internal governance, and relevant regulations (AML/CFT, risk management, reporting).
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with risk tools, data analysis (Excel, Power BI), and incident tracking systems
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English
