SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join Nordgain by TMF and ensure the smooth delivery of full-cycle accounting services to mid-sized and large local and international clients.
In this role, you will manage accounting processes, prepare financial reports, communicate directly with clients and support junior colleagues by sharing your knowledge and coordinating tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage full-cycle accounting for mid-sized and large companies;
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes;
• Prepare financial statements, accounting reports, tax returns and other statutory declarations;
• Coordinate payroll-related accounting processes;
• Analyse financial data and provide clear insights to clients and colleagues;
• Communicate with clients, auditors, public authorities and other third parties;
• Manage accounting processes for multiple clients while ensuring quality and meeting deadlines;
• Delegate tasks to junior colleagues, review their work and share professional knowledge;
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, taxation and relevant legislation;
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance or audit;
• Strong hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting;
• Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian GAAP, taxation and local accounting processes;
• Experience preparing financial statements, tax declarations and management reports;
• Ability to manage several clients, companies or projects simultaneously;
• Advanced MS Excel skills and the ability to quickly adapt to different accounting systems;
• Working proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills;
• Accuracy, proactivity and the ability to work independently;
• Strong communication skills and a client-oriented approach.
CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE
• Experience working in an accounting services, BPO or international business environment;
• Experience managing the accounting of multiple clients or foreign companies;
• Knowledge of IFRS;
• ACCA qualification or ongoing ACCA studies;
• Experience coordinating, mentoring or reviewing the work of junior colleagues;
• Experience working with international clients and stakeholders.
