Job Description

This individual develops and implements software in support of a complex multi-platform application providing world class, ticketing, scheduling, logistics and mobility services to leaders in computer hardware and services.  This is a dynamic, 24/7 global application suite used by the Unisys Digital Workplace Services Field Engineering business with applications and B2B interfaces to external customers and service providers.

 

This person is responsible for system design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions for the unified integration platform for the portfolio. He or she will work closely with various functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into optimized, highly available, high performing solutions.  This position performs all phases of software development life cycle; resolution of issues with existing systems; maintenance and deep support for solutions developed including rotation of 24/7 application coverage support.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

•            Works effectively with architects, leads, internal business and technical stakeholders including ability to present technical solutions while showing a strong understanding of business activities and objectives.

•            Has ability to work independently at times of need.

•            Develops high level and detailed designs for application integration.

•            Develop, customize and/or configure software and the environment for implementation.

•            Creates system documentation and conducts training for support and deployment engineers when applicable.

•            Develops system test plans and test cases.

•            Provides deep level technical support for the software developed.

•            Release management - maintains knowledgebase of deployed environments.

•            Completes all assigned activities within schedule; takes ownership of assigned modules and works toward Quality & Timely delivery with continuous improvement.

•            Participates in on-call support coverage rotation.

Requirements

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 5 year of professional experience, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

 

Mulesoft ( 6 plus years of expertise)

Designing Application Programming Interface (API) layers, data model and API specifications.Developing APIs using Mulesoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave and AnyPoint Messaging Queue (MQ).Developing solution features following MuleSoft development best practices, ensuring solution performance and system scalability.Testing and improving performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability and resource usage.Writing Dataweave expressions to transform data, Control message content, flow, and processing by selecting and implementing appropriate connectors, routers, scopes, and filters.Designing and implement comprehensive error handling strategies for applications.Driving continuous integration and delivery of APIs using DevOps tools.Configuring and deploying Mule applications to CloudHub and/or single or clusters of customer-hosted Mule runtimes.Implementing and consuming (Representational State Transfer)  REST and (Single Object Access Protocol) SOAP web services.Create and configuring flows, sub flows, and flow processing strategies for reusability and performance.Troubleshooting complex production issues with APIs, identify source of the issue and work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed.

 

Salesforce ( Good to have)

6 plus years of experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, LWC and other Salesforce technical components .

Expertise in implementing Platform events/ CDC for high volume integration.

Completed at least 1 end to end implementation of Service Cloud.

Knowledge on CRM Data Analytics is good to have.

Troubleshooting complex production issues.
