Your key areas of responsibilities will be:
- Provide support to offshore environmental and permitting project managers
- Collaborate with offshore environmental and permitting project managers and external consultants to create information base of the offshore best practices
- Assist to improve processes within the organization and initiate the improvements
- Assist in identifying gaps in documentation, or potential areas of non-compliance, and suggests resolutions
- Monitor international standards and best practices impacting the offshore project implementation
- Support and manage meetings with government agencies on environmental matters relevant to the company.
Requirements
- Experience in renewable energy field would be an advantage
- Have a basic understanding of environmental area, including but not limited to climate change, biodiversity and ecosystems, and other
- Have a basic knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS or similar tools
- Have IT literacy knowledge – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
- Are an eager learner, analytical, attentive to details, willing to learn and show initiative
- Have good oral and written communication skills in English language.
