We are looking for a Linux engineer with DevOps mindset, who is a real team player and is ready for a new exciting challenge to join a Trading Technologies department engineering team. Responsibilities
- help managing and driving Linux OS, monitor its requirements and tool sets in Trading Technology and across Corporate Institution IT environments
- use coding skills to automate boring tasks, test your own code, test colleague’s code, deploy changes, write documentation
- implement quick prototypes, load tests and automation of Linux systems
- measure, model, monitor and fine tune performance and efficiency bottlenecks of large scale distributed heterogeneous systems
Requirements
- 2+ years of Linux administration experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience of developing tools for a DevOps environment
- solid understanding of the administration, provisioning, configuration, monitoring and automation of Linux OS
- ability to code in a scripting language such as Python, Ruby or Perl
- Experience with automation, configuration management systems
- Hands-on, can do, team player mentality
- Fluent English
