Now you have an opportunity to join Danske Bank, Group Procurement in Vilnius, and become a part of a rapid-growing Danske Bank community of more than 1000 employees. Group Procurement is a department established in Danske Bank in 2010. The group consists of approximately 80 employees across the Nordics, Baltics and India. The IT Procurement team in Procurement has 20 employees and is responsible for procuring all IT related activities.

As a Procurement Manager in the software and services department, you will be responsible for ensuring that software products/solutions are procured in a manner that is fitting the purpose and timeline of the business, is commercially attractive for the Group both short and long term and complies with the Danske Bank security and compliance policy.

Mission

• You will carry out sourcing of IT Software products/solutions, according to the sourcing process and best practices
• Execute complex sourcing and tender activities involving multiple stakeholders at local and central level
• Proactively build, develop and maintain valuable relationships with stakeholders in Group IT but also on occasions with business units
• Development of robust and appropriate contracts including liaison with specialists across Legal, Compliance, IT Security etc. to ensure compliance to business needs and group policies
• Daily interaction with stakeholders, such as IT Development managers, directors and executives, IT Asset Management, Contract Managers, IT Security and different Business units
• Execute and deliver according to procurement policy – timely and competitive solutions together with the stakeholders

Requirements

• You should at least have 3 years of software experience in either procurement/sourcing field, as software developer and/or sales person
• You like to challenge and question stakeholders in order to drive innovation
• The ideal candidate possess strong negotiation skills and fundamental knowledge of different cultural mindsets
• Your communication skills are flawless and you are expected to drive presentation towards executive management from time to time
• Fluency in English language, both oral and written is a requirement
