Product Specialist

Purpose of the job:

The role is responsible to promote and / or sell our products and manage our defined customers in line with the strategy and agreed territory for cardio / metabolism therapeutic areas.

Main responsibilities:
 Responsible to promote products and manage defined customers in line with the strategy and within agreed territory.
 Implementation/Execution of Product Marketing Activities according to plan.
 Primary Contact for Specialists/External Experts.
 Planning and organizing visits to customers and realization there of calls and seminars.
 Maintains relationship with current and develops contacts with potential customers.
 Organizes and conducts different events directed to disease or category awareness and / or product promotion in responsible territory.
 Acquire and maintain product and diseases/ category knowledge and be able to convey the key advantages and messages in a convincing way to influence the customer practice.
 Acquire and maintain selling and presentation skills and techniques.
 Develops Go To Market transformation models / approaches and concepts in the area of responsibility.
 Compliance with Boehringer Ingelheim internal regulations and local regulations.
 Follows the company’s rules and guidance concerning all product promotion and keeping strictly the ethical code.

Required qualification & background:
 University / Professional education (preferably in medical/scientific field)
 >2 years of work experience on the similar position in pharmaceutical company with background in cardio / metabolism
 Strong background in digital acumen
 Preferred residence –Vilnius

Required skills:
 Excellent written and spoken communication skills (local language)
 Good command of English language
 Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
 Proactive and professional customer service attitude
 Sales, communication, presentation, negotiation skills, organizational skills with result orientation
 Ability to persuade and influence others
 Well organized and target oriented
 Project management expierence
 Accuracy and high sense of responsibility
 Accountability, Agility, Intrapreneurship
 Affinity for new technologies and new communication channels (e.g. digital)
 High ethical standards and strict compliance with internal Policies is essential
 Driving experience and driving license
