Job Description
We are looking for a colleague who would join our Ignitis Renewables team and support the Land Substation (LSS) package in all civil/structural design, certification, and procurement activities for an offshore wind project in the Lithuanian Baltic Sea. This position will manage the technical aspects of design phases from concept to detailed design, supervise consultancy services, and manage interfaces with other project technical/engineering experts. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:
- Provide technical expertise throughout the LSS tender, design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning process, adhering to quality standards and local regulations
- Manage the civil/structural design and implementation process of onshore substation activities, collaborating closely with the LSS Package Manager and related teams
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for civil/structural activities within the Transmission Team for all the technical interfaces with designers and contractors
- Participate in certification and regulatory processes, ensuring compliance with local and international standards
- Promote and enforce HSSE practices to meet Ignitis and local requirements
- Provide budget-relevant information and explore cost reduction measures
- Identify and report risks, determine mitigation actions.
Requirements
- Posses a university degree (in structural or civil engineering)
- Have proven experience in Land Substation civil/construction part design (in combination of the construction of offshore wind farms would be an advantage)
- Are familiar with relevant (especially national) industry standards, regulations and design requirements to ensure compliance with LSS and foundation engineering practice and related safety regulations
- Have strong understanding of the technical and organizational processes for large infrastructure projects
- Demonstrate excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
- Have experience in leading and working with multi-disciplinary and intercultural project teams
- Have excellent written and spoken Lithuanian and English language skills.
