About the department:
The Enterprise IT Operation Solutions team provides operation analytics solutions and IT process solutions to the NASDAQ organization. This includes building, improving and supporting solutions for monitoring, performance analytics, log and event analysis as well as IT process tracking, automation and simplification.
Out of the 11 persons in the team 6 are based in New York and 5 in Stockholm. Out of the 11, 7 works with operation analytics solutions and 4 with IT process solutions. The manager of the team is based in Stockholm.
The highly energized team has a mixture of persons with backgrounds from systems administration, technical operations service desk and software development.
- As a Senior Integration Developer you will primarily work with integrations and solutions around our enterprise wide Remedy ITSM installation. You will work with the full lifecycle of our installation. This will include
- working with customer requirement
- design, implement, test and deploy integrations towards other systems, smaller enhancements and larger initiatives
- work with the team to find innovative ways to improve how the different IT Process are supported by the tools we support
- support the systems managed including BMC Remedy ITSM platform, BMC CMDB, BMC ADDM, BMC Orchestrator and Atlassian JIRA as well as existing custom solutions and integrations
- We work as a team with daily calls to synchronize our work, prioritizations and make sure the global team understands what’s going on.
- The main goal with this position is to make the organizations IT processes as easy as possible by understanding the need from the organization, utilizing the systems we have as well as exploring opportunities in the market.
Requirements
- You will have a master in computer science, similar higher education or have gained similar high knowledge by long work experience.
- You should have gained 3-8 years’ experience from the IT industry.
- You must have documented developer experience in object oriented languages such as Java.
- You must have documented experience in working towards SQL databases.
- You should have documented experience in developing integrations between systems and automations preferably to improve IT processes.
- You should have experience regarding relevant tools like Atlassian JIRA, BMC ITSM, ServiceNow, CA Service Management, Cherwell Service Management, HP Service Manager or other business application platforms such as SAP or Oracle
- You should have experience in the areas of integrating business application to other systems with techniques like web services and REST
- You should understand different IT operational processes like Incident, Change and Asset
Technical skills
JavaSQLIntegrations such as web services and RESTFluent in English both spoken and written.Your profile:
