SENIOR LAWYER (F/MD) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are looking for a colleague who would join our experienced team of renewables professionals, fill the role of senior lawyer and contribute to the strategic transactions shaping the energy sector. We value openness, partnership is our strength, and responsibility makes us a great team. Your key areas of responsibilities will be: 

• Provide legal support for M&A and investment transactions, including participation in negotiations and guidance on transaction execution
• Offer legal counseling and assistance for vendor's due diligence, data collection, structuring, analysis, and running VDRs
• Draft and review legal documentation (e.g., NDAs, MoUs, LoIs, SPAs, commercial contracts) in accordance with laws and internal policies
• Serve as a legal consultant in Ignitis Renewables' corporate law matters in Lithuania, including drafting decisions and company incorporation documents
• Also, handle the legal organization of subsidiaries in Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and potentially other markets
• Draft internal legal documentation, assess draft documents from other departments, and provide advice on the application of external and internal legal acts
• Offer in-house legal support and collaborate with transaction counsels, legal advisors, regulators, management, and other stakeholders on commercial and corporate legal matters
• Provide legal counseling and assistance to business teams with KYC and other compliance processes.

• Have higher education in law (master‘s degree)
• Have 4+ years of professional post-qualification experience in-house or in a law firm in respective areas of expertise
• Possess good knowledge of Lithuanian company & contract law, strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks
• Are client-oriented, result-oriented, proactive with strong analytical skills
• Feel comfortably working in cross-cultural teams, collaborating across country boundaries with a sense of diversity and inclusion
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English languages (both spoken and written)
• Experience in energy sector or experience with group companies would be an asset.
