JOB ROLE

As Senior Manager – Hygiene & Food Safety you will head the hygiene department. Oversee the maintenance/upgrade of sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure all food served to guests and colleagues are free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination and all work areas conforms to required hygiene and sanitation levels ,you will also be responsible for all services related to food safety in catering, HACCP standard , training of all food handlers and enforcement of all the policy and regulation of (ADFCA) and to make proactive solutions for any challenges related to food safety.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for effective and efficient maintenance of records related to the Club’s sanitation and hygiene efforts/program
  • To control all food items according to quality
  • Formulates and maintains an up-to-date methodology manual that is constantly available for use and review by the section personnel
  • Performs special assignments and projects assigned by the executive team
  • Conduct and chair the food safety monthly meeting
  • Monitors, assists and performs all procedures and protocols for maintaining an excellent sanitation and hygienic environment
  • Is part of the sanitation team, which conducts monthly sanitation & inspections throughout all food handling areas and generate respective reports
  • Continually liaises with external agencies (laboratory, government bureau, health practitioners, etc.) on sanitary matters
  • Responsible for effective and efficient maintenance of records related to the Club’s sanitation and hygiene efforts/program
  • To identify the risk in various food operations for early remedial actions
  • To control all food items according to quality
  • To ensure compliance with the regulations, licensing conditions and codes of practice relating to food businesses
  • Contact with (ADFCA) for all issues related to food safety.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10 years experience in food safety which includes atleast 5 years experience in five star hotels in a similar role
  • B.SC of Public Health, food science or equivalent
  • Certificate level 4 in food safety or HACCP and Credited trainer for EFST
  • Ability to quickly develop effective relationships and effectively communicate at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-directed and results orientated.
