Job Description
As a Senior Security Specialist you will support, build and ensure security controls within Outokumpu and challenge the organization to raise cyber security to the next level.
Individual accountabilities
- Run vulnerability management program
- Coordinate secure software development lifecycle with projects and development teams
- Coordinate security incident planning, preparations and response
- Review security plans and assess controls in a specific solution or service areas
- Test systems to expose weaknesses in security, reporting findings and execute/coordinate corrective actions
- Monitor and audit systems for abnormal activity
- Work closely with CISO, security architect, other infra and solution architects, IT operations teams and IT supply chain
- Assist IT management in enforcing approved policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT security experience in addition to overall experience in e.g. software development, IT administration or other relevant area
- University degree and/or other relevant experience and training
- Relevant certifications e.g. CISSP, GIAC, CEH or CISM are appreciated
- Digital footprint on e.g. GitHub, bug bounty programs or in vendor security release notes is appreciated
- In-depth expertise in some of these domains:
Secure software development
Vulnerability management
Security testing
Security operations
Incident response and/or digital forensics
Security of critical infrastructure, industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT)
- Fluent in English language, both written and spoken – skills in other languages are beneficial
- Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work with diverse teams in a multicultural environment
- Communicate effectively with various technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel based on job requirements
