Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Solution Architect division of the Ignitis Group shared service center, where you’ll be responsible for our in-house software development capabilities. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Developing solution designs that meets business and technology needs, facilitate meetings with business and technology stakeholders and use analytical skills to understand business requirements and current as-is architecture;
  • Creating conceptual and logical deployment diagrams to communicate current and future state architecture;
  • Designing integrations through APIs and service-oriented architectures;
  • Select the most appropriate technology for a problem, involving balancing the architectural concerns of the project with the concerns of the enterprise;
  • Collaborating with Enterprise Architects to ensure solution design aligns with Enterprise strategies and roadmaps;
  • Delegating works in complex changes to the team of programmers and other architects;
  • Contributing to the development of architectural principles based on the Roadmap and Target architecture.

Qualifications

  • Have at least 4 years of similar work experience (solution architect, ex software engineer, technical analyst, integrations developer);
  • Have experience in Web Applications Architecture & Mobile Applications Architecture (IAM, layers, scalability, high availability, etc.);
  • Have experience with visual modeling tools such as MagicDraw and Unified Modeling Language (UML);
  • Good knowledge about Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability of a system;
  • Good knowledge about systems software development utilizing multiple modern technologies and design patterns;
  • Have at least 2 years of experience with Agile & DevSecOps methodologies;
  • TOGAF Knowledge desired;
  • Have time management, critical thinking and comprehension skills.
