In order to build one of the world’s largest money transfer networks, Strategic Staffing Solutions International client Western Union needs global operations that can deliver on that vision. The European Regional Operating Center (EUROC) – the largest Western Union (WU) site in the world focuses on driving real improvements through shorter lead times, decreasing costs and improving customer satisfaction. The EUROC also serves as a Centre of Excellence and hosts Anti Money Laundering Compliance, Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, Digital Operations and Distribution amongst other functions.

The Job

Western Union’s Global Marketing team based in various offices from San Francisco to Denver, Vilnius to Costa Rica, is looking for a SEO and Content Marketing analyst to partner with business, product/user experience and IT to turn requirements into clear, helpful, high-quality product content & UI text, work with legal, privacy, etc. to ensure compliance and get content approvals. This role, per definition, is a team-player as you’ll have to coordinate closely with country marketing teams.

Refine existing and produce new copy for global marketing and advertising campaigns that span over a variety of languages and countries on WU.com.

You’ll be expected to produce content and align elements on WU.com’s landing pages that will boost customer engagement and generate SEO uplifts, as well as improve the promotion of Western Union’s products and services in the most converting way.

While working on a number of copywriting projects within tight schedules, you should be able to accept constructive feedback and possible constraints of the business;

We also would like you to be willing to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in SEO, search marketing, digital advertising, and related communications industries, as well as make sure that your copy meets the high brand standards.

About You

An ideal candidate for this position will possess the following characteristics: experience writing and managing digital content. Deep understanding of-and passion for-web content best practices and emerging trends as well as HTML and CMS. Working knowledge of user-centered design processes, information architecture, and web design best practices. Experience with enterprise content management systems, namely Adobe CQ5/AEM and Wordpress.

Moreover, you should be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; be commercially aware and able to understand the target audience; demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments.

Finally, we would love you have a healthy sense of humor, positive outlook and an ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback.
