Translation Platform Administrator

Job Description

Your responsibility will be to administer and support translation management system Across by debugging issues, verifying, and proposing possible solutions to resolve them.  The role will also include communication with end users in the English language.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • User-consultancy as part of existing Across-Support-Team
  • Extension and improvement of service level (availability, quality of service, reaction time)
  • Setup, maintenance and improvement of Application infrastructure (server, client installation, virtual machines, service monitoring, update planning)
  • Administer (create, delete, assign) users, roles, rights
  • System configuration (workflows, document settings, project templates)
  • Coordination with IT, Helpdesk, Database administrators

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • IT affinity and willingness to work in this field
  • Knowledge of XML
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of common file formats (e.g., for troubleshooting): MS Office, InDesign
  • Ability to solve problems creatively
  • Professional and positive attitude, sense of responsibility
