UX Lead

At the moment we are looking for a UX Lead to join our Digital team in Telia Lithuania. We are a great bunch of people and we‘re proud of our team and the things we achieve together.

Your next challenge?

As our new UX Lead you would be responsible for establishing and driving UX strategy in Telia Lithuania, developing, monitoring and measuring UX processes. You would be leading a team of UX designers by providing leadership, mentorship and managing their career growth across diverse product releases while accommodating different platforms and devices.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Define and execute team goals.
• Represent the UX voice and be an advocate for the user in all conversations when collaborating closely with developers, business and product owners.;
• Develop the people on the team: Educational opportunities, goals, growth for team members and team as a whole.
• Ensure the well-being of the team.
• Map out design decisions according to key performance indicators (KPIs), and vice-versa, so that success could be measured;
• Review and guide team in managing their projects and ensuring high quality design outputs.
• Work with the business to understand what it needs from the team.
• Develop deep partnerships with leaders across different teams to set strategy, priorities, and resourcing.
• Define UX UI methods, processes, recommend best approaches for implementation of user experience.
• Select and manage use of third party design tools.
• Manage the usage and development of the global patterns and guidelines library.
• Apply a business orientation to team management and leadership, in addition to creative design leadership.

• Most importantly, preference for a data-driven design and validated learning mindset
• Prior UX Research experience, such as usability testing and customer interviews, is a plus

Who are you?

You are a motivated, self-driven and passionate UX Leader with proven competence in leading a big brand on your own. You can prioritize across multiple agendas and manage time effectively. While having a broad perspective, you are able to maintain attention to detail. You are fluent in English and have a natural interest in all things digital.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirement:

• Portfolio of UX examples that highlight your design process in a clear and organized way
• The ability to develop design solutions using quantitative and qualitative data and other sources of user information.
• Fluency with design tools for exploring, prototyping, testing, and producing user experiences.
• Collaborative communication skills and a proven capacity to prioritize and defend design decisions; strong interpersonal skills and strong opinions that are loosely held.
• Familiarity with web development solutions such as HTML5/CSS3/Javascript.
• Enthusiasm to share, innovate, and create world-class design with a like-minded team of fellow creatives.

• Strong leadership and management skills, at least 3+ years of managing a team, preferably in an international organization.
• User-centric design approach that involves rapid testing and iteration of designs
• Exceptional skills with standard UX software such as Sketch, Figma, Invision or similar.
• Understanding of how design translates to code
• Ability to use prototyping tools to convey design intent
• Ability to be a UX advocate and communicate with diverse stakeholders

Working in this position you will receive a base salary at 3250 - 4870 Eur (gross) plus annual bonuses depending on your competencies and your and Telia results. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefits package which includes:
