We are looking for an Engineer-Tester (Tauragė)

Main Responsibilities:

Testing Processes & Technical Work:

  • Perform testing of elevator electrical control cabinets according to technical and safety standards.
  • Develop and improve testing procedures for electrical and control circuit verification.
  • Ensure the reliability and proper functioning of testing stations.
  • Prepare testing documentation, assembly instructions, and other technical materials.
  • Participate in the installation, assembly, and commissioning of testing stations.
  • Develop capability to assemble and test Traction and Partial Mod cabinets based on E-plan Smartwire.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Apply necessary modifications to each unit where required (electrical circuit adjustments, component replacements, wiring adaptations).

Project Coordination:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise projects related to establishing assembly and testing capacity.
  • Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality requirements are met.
  • Implement standardized work methods and quality systems.
  • Report project progress, risks, and key updates to management.

Authority:

  • Prioritize work tasks according to project goals.
  • Stop work when identifying safety or quality risks.
  • Initiate equipment and material purchases within the project scope.

Requirements:

  • Technical education in electrical engineering or automation (mandatory).
  • Good Lithuanian and English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Documented project management experience (proven track record managing projects in production or industrial environments).
  • Experience developing or improving testing equipment, ability to modify equipment and contribute to product development.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
  • Basic CAD knowledge (e.g., E-Plan).
  • Ability to apply necessary modifications to individual units during testing or assembly.
  • Willingness to travel for trainings or business trips.
  • Ability to work both hands-on and strategically.
  • Swedish language – an advantage.
