Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated colleague to join our dynamic energy trading team. Our team is at the forefront of the energy market, handling a diverse range of responsibilities including Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) origination, managing electricity, guarantees of origin, and gas market access, conducting market analytics, and developing price forward curves. Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy sector, representing the company to foster partnerships and maintain an active industry presence.
  • Perform thorough market research, specifically concentrating on offtake agreements related to renewable energy projects and exploring over-the-counter (OTC) contracts with potential partners and energy producers in Baltics.
  • Work closely with senior team members to structure and negotiate offtake agreements, OTC contracts, and other trading arrangements, ensuring advantageous terms for the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess new opportunities, emphasizing offtake agreements for new and existing renewable energy projects.
  • Assist in the development of project proposals, financial models, and feasibility studies with a focus on offtake structures.
  • Participate in the creation of non-standard products and tools to enhance the company's market position.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, policy developments, and market dynamics influencing renewable energy projects and trading strategies.

Requirements

  • Have a university degree (economy, business areas, engineering, statistics or closely related field).
  • Have proven 2+ years of experience in the electricity market, project management, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills in Lithuanian and English (both written and spoken).
  • Initiative to lead and contribute to projects, aligning deliveries with resource, timing, and budget constraints.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with OTC contracts, power trading mechanisms, and offtake agreement structures would be advantage.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to the evolving landscape of renewable energy and power trading.
