As software developer, you will primarily be working with development and maintenance of our main product, BM FlexCheck. You will become part of a dynamic and motivated team, which presently consist of 4 persons.
BM FlexCheck has been developed over the past 10 years and consist of a Win32 main program developed in Delphi. The BM FlexCheck IT system additional consists of a PDA program developed in C#. BM FlexCheck includes a variation of utilities such as Live-update, database backup, Website based license registering etc. BM FlexCheck IT system is communicating with a wide scope of other hardware via Bluetooth, RS232, WiFi, UDP etc. All software is designed for efficient and dynamic customization to meet specific requirements of many different international customers. This design applies large demands on the software developer’s competences in analyzing and implementing new applications and solutions.
BM FlexCheck IT system is developed in Delphi 7, Delphi 2010, Delphi.net, C# and ASP.net.
BM FlexCheck is installed and used in many countries with more to come. Currently we are working with development for countries like Lithuania, Ireland, England, Norway, Australia and New Zealand etc. For the right candidate with the inspiration and ability for international travelling, the job can possible involve such activities also.
Your tasks will involve following main activities: Developing and maintenance of software written in Delphi. Programming and maintenance of SQL databases (Interbase) Creating corresponding technical documentation including user’s manual (English).
The team leader of the software team, will be your direct superior.

You background is a relevant academic education and properly a couple of years practical job experience in software development using Delphi. Additional practical experience with - or knowledge about SQL databases is considered an advantage.
As a minimum you shall have good skills in verbal and written English.

The right candidate will qualify for a 4 week education course at BM Autoteknik premises in Denmark. The training course will include 2 return flight tickets, hotel, meals and a small allowance. The training course will consist of two separate stays in Denmark over 10 days (ie each stay will include one weekend in Denmark). Subject to a successful training course, the right candidate will be appointed and employed.
The training course will commence the 31st of May or 7th of June 2010. Please confirm in your application, if you can participate.
