Job Description
As the Application Maintenance Specialist your main responsibility is to deliver high quality applications maintenance support:
Having application maintenance responsibility. The maintenance tasks consists of troubleshooting “as level 3” (level 3 being the most advanced one)
Preparing and coordinating systems and applications upgrades
Handling service requests and system incidents
Being responsible for organizing communication with the different supporting teams, vendors and customers
Managing changes as delegated by Change Manager
Being responsible for recovery plans, providing input from business
Being responsible for cost-efficient service delivery according to agreements and KPI`s and initiating service improvement activities

Requirements
We are looking for you who has the underdtanding of how products and services are offered through applications and wants to work full-time within a maintenance team. You must be able to operate independently and take responsibility for activities.Since you will take part in vendor and client meetings good business skills is required. It is important that you are analytical and work methodically since a part of your assignment consists of troubleshooting.
To succeed in this role we expect you to have:
A relevant education within IT and relevant work experience
Experience with the Microsoft Windows platform
Experience with the Microsoft SQL/Server platform
Experience with virtual platforms like VMware
Experience from a helpdesk or support function
Good knowledge in both written and spoken English and Lithuanian
It’s an advantage if you have:
Knowledge in the insurance system Inca
Knowledge in the insurance business
Your personality:
Good team player
Good planning and prioritizing skills to manage a varied and pressurized workload
Focuses on the achievement of targets in operational terms
Open to new approaches and alternative means in order to accomplish results despite setbacks
Open to work during non office hours
Willing to travel
