Job Description

Your duties will include, but not be limited, to the following:

  • BD strategy development and implementation
  • Leadership and relationship fostering – build relationships with internal stakeholders and lead teams towards BD actions
  • Proposals/bids – take the lead on proposals/pitches, credentials and presentations, including: competitor analysis, developing value propositions, proposal writing and management, and debriefs
  • Client development – drive forward targeting efforts across the firm's key client programs, supporting relationship teams in using the consultancy as a differentiator in their client strategy as well as generating and pursuing leads for new solutions and products
  • Internal engagement – close integration with the firm’s legal teams is at the heart of the firm's strategy
  • BD planning and advice – develop, deliver and assess the success of business development and marketing plans for specific offerings or launches
  • Campaign management – work with the Group Heads, and communication teams to develop and execute the BD/CRM elements of integrated marketing and business development campaigns including planning roundtables and client briefings to generate new business opportunities and raise the firm’s market profile
  • International leadership and management. 30% of your work will include travelling to Riga/Vilnius/Talin office every other week for 1 day.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development/marketing experience in a corporate or partnership environment is preferred, preferably with knowledge and experience of legal services, B2B services. Although candidates with less experience will be considered, providing they meet the required competencies
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel and lead Baltic teams in Latvia and Estonia as well as Lithuania.
  • Experience of leading pitching opportunities in an international professional services environment
  • Demonstrated experience in building strategic relationships, managing clients and pursuing new business opportunities on international level
  • Strong project management skills, excellent organizational, planning and project administrative skills; experience of managing key client events is preferable
